I just wanted to sing you a song for Easter, so I made this today. It’s not perfect, but it’s how I feel. I hope you enjoy! How beautiful is our Savior!

Since we don’t have an activities committee in our branch, the branch council decided that each organization would be in charge of putting on a branch activity. The Primary was in charge of doing the branch Easter party. Good thing I have these awesome ladies as my counselors…we all worked so hard on the activity, thanks Julie and Liz!
Here’s the spread we put out…a bagel bar, donuts, grapes, parfaits and we even had some other food that members from the branch brought with them. Yum!
The decorations, they were really fun to make and are so cute and colorful. Yes, I am complimenting myself…we worked hard! haha. Plus, they were cheap, branches from the woods in my backyard, sand from the beach and tissue paper…under $.50 for each bouquet.
We had some great musical numbers about our Savior. This was my favorite part. Easter is such a wonderful, hopeful time. It gives me time to reflect on the sacrifice that the Savior made for me, for all of us, when He atoned for our sins and was crucified. But the most amazing part is that He rose again. He lives. I know that He lives, just like I know that the sun will rise everyday, it is that real and sure to me. I feel incredibly blessed to have that knowledge, I will always treasure it.
And lastly, our awesome Easter Egg Hunt!

It was a lot of work, but so worth it! Happy Easter!
