Everyday an Anniversary

This is post is for journaling purposes so please excuse any “mushiness” that may occur. I decided that everyday should be treated like it’s an anniversary. Denis and I celebrated our 3rd year together, yesterday. It was such a wonderful day. We didn’t do anything big or grand, we just stayed at home hung out together and went to dinner. (Although, last Saturday we did go jet skiing and swimming with dolphins and that was awesome. Pictures to come. Whoever comes to visit next, we should do it again.) I think my favorite part of our anniversary is that we were just super conscious of trying to make the other person happy. That’s why I say we should live life like everyday is our anniversary, where there is no room for selfishness. For my anniversary gift Denis gave me flowers and a nativity set. That may seem a little random, but I have been wanting one since we got married and since good ol’ Hobby Lobby puts their Christmas stuff out in the middle of the summer I found one I LOVE. My gift to Denis was a yummy lunch and a surprise basket full of goodies and love notes at work. Its true that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. haha. I couldn’t have asked for a better three years then the ones we’ve shared. I love you Sweetheart!
