Something fishy is going on, I’m having a weird allergic reaction to something this morning…hives on my arms and legs. I downed some of my neighbors children’s Benadryl, so hopefully I don’t fall asleep while I’m writing this. Anyways, the other thing that is fishy is that I finally repurposed (that’s a fancy word for throwing some paint on it) my fish bowl that I got for a dollar at a yard sale a while back. I’m thinking I might paint some sort of design on the outside of it to make it pop a little more; like polka dots, stripes, flowers, damask, etc. But I’m not sure about that. Anyways, it’s cute and adds some color in my kitchen. You like?

No, I’m not talking about the apples in the pictures below, although those are good, tasty apples. I’m talking about my counselors that work with me in Primary. They are good, wonderful, kind, happy, helpful, humble, creative, willing, and fun! I’m so grateful to have them serving with me so I made them these apples to let them know that they are fantastic teachers.

Denis and I decided we would drive the 8 hours to see the opening BYU game because it is going to be the only game that we will be able to see in person. As we drove into Oxford, MS we saw all the Ole Miss and BYU fans walking around campus all dressed up in their game gear, and ready to cheer their team on. Although we were in a different place, it gave me the same feeling I had when walking to the LaVell Edwards stadium for the first home game at BYU. There may have been more Ole Miss fans, but Denis and I were sitting in a section with mostly all BYU fans and it wasn’t even the “visiting teams” section. It was so fun to meet BYU fans from Georgia, Florida, Oklahoma, Texas, etc all coming in to cheer their Cougars on! Although the first three quarters were slow and frustrating, the 4th made up for it all. Go cougars! Hope we can pull out another win tonight!
Thanks for letting us stay with you Gretchen and Elise!! We always love to visit. Come see us soon!

You wanna know the best thing is about living by a beach? You can decide to have a dinner picnic, on a Tuesday, after work, with friends, at the last minute. Yeah, that’s probably the best part. (The little girl in the pictures name is Lily, she is the cutest little thing so I couldn’t help but take like a thousand pictures of her.)
