My little stars

I’m really a full out piano teacher now. I held my first student piano recital last week. The kids worked on their recital songs for a couple of months. They memorized them and practiced them till they were perfect. I’m so proud of all of them! It was so fun to get to share all their hard work with their friends and family. Every time I teach any one of them a lesson I’m amazed at just how quickly they learn and how much they want to learn. Since I only had 5 students, the recital was short and very sweet. In trying to remember everything for the recital I forgot my camera, but luckily all the parents had them and I stole a few of their pictures.

What’s a recital without refreshments? Chocolate STAR cupcakes for all my little stars that night. I also made red velvet cheesecake brownies. (Took this pic at my house when I was done decorating them because I was so proud of my first decorating attempt.)

I’m going to miss this little guy. He is an amazing piano player (6 yrs old) He is moving soon. We are really good friends with their family and so sad that they have to go.

This is my newest student. She is super smart and super sweet (10 yrs old)

Haha we are all looking at different cameras. They was about 6 different people taking pictures of us at the same time. One of the little girls jokingly said, “Get away all you paparazzi, I don’t want my picture taken.”

All my students together! (Hannah Smith age 9, Hannah Seagraves age 10, me, Enoch Garza age 6, Daniel Smith age 11, Quinn Lewis age 7).
